Milo goes to a Methodist preschool and also to nursery at our church each week, so I guess he’s hearing a lot more about Jesus than I really know about. And you know how kids sometimes get weird ideas about stuff? At breakfast today, Milo was concerned that we were almost out of bread and I said, “It’s ok, we will get more. We are so lucky that we always have enough food to eat.” (Me being virtuous and hoping to seize a teaching moment) And Milo said, “Because Jesus will get it for us?” And I could just see the wheels turning in his little curly head.

And, well… he wasn’t wrong exactly.
